Iso 9001 Home

The aim of the ISO 9001 standard is to implement a quality management system in your company (or in your organization) to improve its competitiveness, its internal operations and the relations with its customers and suppliers. The ISO 9001 standard was defined by the International Organization for Standarization, and it is based on the british standard BS 5750, by the British Standards Institution. The version currently applicable is ISO 9001:2008.
ISO 9001:2008 is structured in 8 chapters. The most importants are chapter 4, which is about the management system (this chapter contains general requirements and documentation management requirements), chapter 5, which defines the responsibilities of the management and chapter 6, which is devoted to the management of the resources of the company (human resources, infrastructure and working environment). Finally, we highlight the chapter 7, devoted to improve the products of the company and the chapter 8, which defines how to implement the continuous improvement system in the company.
